What was once originally called the Amalgamated Banks of South Africa or ABSA Group Limited as many people know is now called Barclays Africa Group.

ABSA is a South African financial services benefactor that specializes in individual and corporate banking, credit cards, corporate investment finance, wealth in addition to savings management. ABSA Bank Limited is a solely owned secondary financial provider of Barclays Africa Group.

Foundation and going forward

The client needs to earn between R0 – R 3000 pm.

Flexi value account

On the flexi value account, you get an unrestricted memorial protection to the rate of R15 000 and free assessment of the statements. The client is charged R59,52 as a monthly fee and has to earn on average R3000 to qualify. You will also be able to get a short-term loan should you need it.

Gold value bundle

The figures are slightly higher in the gold value bundle but so are the benefits. The client needs to earn at least R10 000 pm and with a monthly fee of R105,92 pm, you get lifestyle aids and ABSA Feasting.

With this bank account, the client needs an income of R25 000 on a monthly basis. As a premium subscriber, you get high-class urgent banking at selected branches. All of this can be acquired from R170,48 pm as a monthly charge. You can also get an online short term loan via online banking when you need it.
